Yep, I'm going to be giving out previews for the story I'm working on. Hope I'm not ripping off anything because I doing my best to be original! Anyway, enjoy!

Mac Joins Ariel & Gabriel



Even though the periods at school were 1 ½ hours each class, they seemed as if they listed almost an eternity for Ariel. As the school bell rang for lunch period, she decided to go to the football field and lay down on her back while the sun soothes her.

After she had just closed her eyes shut, Gabriel had came upon rushing out to Ariel and arrived with a smile on her face. “How are you Lady Ariel?” she asked.

Ariel opened her eyes and it appeared that Gabriel wasn’t alone this time. Next to the golden blonde princess was a boy that could be in the same grade as she was. He had raven hair that was straight yet a bit poofy. His eyes were almost slanted and his iris was emerald. And his skin was almost as pale as snow. As Ariel looked at his facial expression, he seemed timid as he was peeking behind Gabriel’s back.

“Hey Gabriel,” Ariel pondered. “Who’s this?”

“Oh him,” Gabriel spoke as if she almost forgot about the boy. “His name is Makoto Sanford-something. I forget his last name.”

“Where did you find him?”

“He was in one my classes called “Biology”. As the bell rang, I saw him playing an interesting looking instrument that had six strings. I then asked him to come along with me to meet you so here we are.”

The boy came out from hiding. He was looking down at the grass that was starting to dry up from the sun.

“So,” Ariel began. “Makoto was it?”

“Just call me Mac,” the boy spoke quietly. It appeared that his voice had all ready dropped but still sounded like his voice was in the tenor range.

“Okay Mac, what brings you such curiosity to us?”

He didn’t speak. He continued looking at the grass.

Gabriel began to speak for him instead. “I may not be correct about this but I believe that he hasn’t made any friends here. So I figured why not become his friends?”

Ariel suddenly heard a slither behind her. She turned around and it appeared to be a snake. As it was making its way through the grass, Ariel immediately blasted out fire in the palm of her hands ready to fight. Not thinking, Mac was surprised at her abilities.

As the snake was about to make a move on Ariel, Mac rushed up to the snake and petted it. The snake’s mood became more calm and reserved. As it slithered up to Mac’s shoulder, he whispered something next to the snake. Ariel and Gabriel weren’t sure about what was going on.

Mac then set his right arm and let the snake slither back to where it came from. As he turned around, he saw the girls’ face in surprise. He began to feel quite embarrassed and his body was shaking.

“I can explain!” he quivered. “It’s a…gift I have.”

Ariel’s surprised face turned into excitement. She rushed up the boy, got a hold of his shoulders, and started shaking them. “That was amazing! Finally we’re not the only ones with powers!! We must create a team whenever danger comes at us!!”

“But Ariel,” Gabriel questioned. “Weren’t we hiding from danger in the first place?”

“Danger?” Obviously Mac was unsure of what they were talking about.

“It’s a long story,” Ariel spoke. “But the only solution is to make a team since you have an ability and you also know our secret.”

“Brilliant idea, Lady Ariel,” as Gabriel was dazzled by the sudden plan Ariel had made.

Ariel glared straight into Mac’s emerald eyes. “You won’t tell anyone, right?” She gave the boy a look that if he was going to tell anyone about this, he would be roasted to death. All he could reply was by his head from left to right fearfully.

“Welcome to the team, first recruit.” Ariel patted Mac on the back. Thus became the start of a team filled with anything unusual and/or supernatural.
